Our work in Quarter Three (October – December)

12th January 2020

It has been an incredibly busy few months for our Foodbank. After your incredible support over Christmas, we raised over 8000kg of foodthe majority coming from our supermarket collection points.

Sadly, this support has been matched by ever rising demand. In the last three months, we fed 678 people – of which 202 were children.* Whilst one in two of our referrals came from single person families (i.e. individuals) – we fed 81 families. Over half of these were single parent households.

Check out some key statistics on our work this quarter below. Alternatively, visit our Research and Statistics page for further data on our Foodbank in this quarter and in previous years.
